Reuse hub helps post-consumer wood loop back into the market
How can wood-based building elements be reused? WoodStock visited a ‘reuse hub’ in Oslo to see how this wood can gain a new life. The large volumes of building materials that the hub receives are safely stored and registered for potential resale. This way, post-consumer wood that would otherwise be burnt enters into a circular value chain where it can be reused in new applications. By mapping the entire European wood value chain, WoodStock supports such initiatives, and highlights the potential demand and supply of post-consumer wood.
